OCEAN STATE THEATRE COMPANY offers special student matinee performances of all of our season shows, including in-house produced Family Fun Fest titles.  Student matinee tickets are offered at a discounted rate and include:
·         Pre-performance study guides available for all participants.  Study guides are built using R.I.D.E. standards.
·         Post-show question and answer sessions with the cast, crew and any available artistic personnel.

The Rhode Island State Council on the Arts' Big Yellow School Bus Grant provides up to $400 to Rhode Island schools and pre-schools. The grant helps underwrite the costs of field trips to attend arts events such as live music, dance or theatre performances, exhibits at art museums, etc., as well as the cost of coverage for classroom teachers involved in the field trip.
